People have been asking about whether the BOT-3000 has undergone the ASTM F2508-11 "Calibration Standard". The answer is "yes it has" and the summary can be viewed by clicking on the icon below. Regretably though, it should be mentioned that this standard (in our opinion) is scientifically weak since the four tiles provided by ASTM cannot be directly traceable to the same lot of surfaces used within the 2007 USC Study upon which the standard is based. We have also observed a larger than expected tile-to-tile variation within each tile group, based upon an 8 piece sample size for each group.
